Recently, on March 28th the Community Action Organization in conjunction with the Pathstone Enterprise Center Inc. coordinated another entrepreneurship workshop in their Business Development Series to cultivate businesses in the WNY community. According to Jonathan Ling, these workshops are an initiative to immediately help cultivate business in East Buffalo and WNY.” Ms. Pam James stresses these classes are of value to fostering business growth in area outside of Downtown Buffalo during the economic resurgence in Buffalo, NY. “
The topics covered in the March 28th workshop addressed technologies that are available to help small business operate optimally. This event was a part of a series of workshops for helping startups and existing business in the target area of East Buffalo. The workshop featured Kenyana David, Sincere Lincoln, Duane Madyun, and myself (Marshaun L. Quinniey). The presenters stressed the importance of using current technologies for optimally managing a small business, because appropriate use of such technology can reduce time and save money.

Mr. Madyun touched on his service for deploying the cost-effective, Harbor Touch POS System. Mrs. Lincoln conveyed on the value branding has benefited her web site development clients. Mrs. David shared steps for creating content for social media from her newly released Digital Content Strategy Toolkit (http://bit.ly/DigitalContentStrategyToolkit) that small businesses can take immediately with little or no cost. I shared a variety of electronic tools (software, apps, & online resources that are useful for small businesses) that I uncovered from helping community stakeholders build web sites, business cards, and flyers.
